I was on the fence about having a gathering, but after driving by the location several times, I submitted a request for quote, received a prompt reply, made a reservation to view the space, and absolutely fell in love with the venue!

I was going for a chill kickback vibe with a living room feel, a few circle tables for dining, and some lounging in the back patio area. A eat and drink at your leisure.

Marie heard my words and I felt 100% confident in her ability to deliver based off us bouncing off each other's vibes, I felt she truly got me.

She worked with the caterer Two Hommes to curate a special menu, secured the fabulous Angela as the bartender, booked photography and videographer services by Team Nick, independently decorated the whole venue based off my initial vibe check, and provided the cherry on top with valet services!

My guests could not stop talking about how beautiful everything was and said it was a very "Simone quality event," which says a lot for me to have had no part in the set-up. Marie delivered, and then some!

It was the most stress-free event possible! I look forward to hosting more events with Marie & Violet Noir!

Violet Noir is beautiful venue for small to medium events. Holds about 120 people comfortably. The entryway is beautifully decorated. It sets the tone for your event. All of my guest were dazzled by it. Everyone commented on how pretty it was. That entryway compliments and enhances any decorations you choose to do.The main hall is spacious and includes a fridge, stove microwave, ice machine. Ample counter space to use for set up or to incorporate into your decor. The outdoor space beautifully decorated as well. Ample seating and opportunities for pictures. The three distinct areas(entry, main, outdoor) gives a modern open concept feel that it very impressive. The restooms were clean and well stocked. The neighborhood felt safe and all of my guest were comfortable. It also smells really good in the entire venue. On top of all that, the owner Marie and her team were amazing . The right balance of warm and professional. She answered all my questions promptly, arranged outside vendors and went above and beyond to make my event a success. I truly felt she was just as excited and invested in my event as I was. I highly recommend you use Violet Noir for your next event.

Beautiful place to have something but the customer service is horrible. Went to an event this past weekend and it was overwhelming.The air conditioning did not work nor did the refrigerator with many of our perishables inside. When reaching out the communication was nonexistent, even till this day nothing. Things happen but how you handle it shows what type of business woman you are. People spend their hard earned money and don’t expect nothing short of amazing. Everything looked rushed like no care was given. Be mindful of the experience you may have!

Had an amazing time at Violet Noir! I hosted a small event and I received the best reviews from my guests. The space is decorated beautifully, plenty of space for around 200 or so guests, a working full kitchen, 1 full and a 1/2 bath, I couldn't ask for more.

The outdoor space was intimate and gorgeous. Plus Marie, the venue host is amazing. Very pleasant, has great communication, and professional. I will definitely be booking her space again.

At the last minute our organization (12+ people) needed an additional meeting space that both had chairs and empty space to move around. Violet Noire met our needs and more! The outdoor patio was really nice to escape to during long meeting days.
Marie even went above and beyond to make the space available before our rental for snack deliveries.

My experience with Violet Noir this past weekend was extremely disappointing. Hosting an event and having guests complain is a host’s worst nightmare, and unfortunately, that’s exactly what happened. Marie, the owner, has shown herself to be dishonest and unwilling to take responsibility for the issues that arose.

Firstly, a review by "Gabrielle A." on Yelp claiming to be from this weekend is completely fake. The pictures she posted were already on the Violet Noir page since April 1st. This clearly indicates that Violet Noir is fabricating reviews to cover up their poor service.

My initial review was based on my honest opinion of my mom's party, and subsequent reviews are genuine guest feedback. If you value your money and peace of mind, I strongly advise against using Violet Noir for your events.

Marie has falsely claimed that guests were escorted out for being belligerent. In reality, only one guest felt unwell and we, the family, decided to send her home. She was not disruptive at all. I challenge Marie to post any video evidence she claims to have, but I’m certain she cannot because it never happened.

The venue’s lack of organization is appalling. The security guard instructed us to leave the trash in front of the venue, yet Marie blamed us for the mess. Proper communication and on-site staff are essential, which Violet Noir lacks. Maybe the money owed to me could be used to hire competent staff.

Lastly, the air conditioning is inadequate. It’s only in a side room, not the main event space, making it unbearably hot despite the fans that were only brought out mid-party.

Overall, I cannot recommend Violet Noir, especially during hot weather. Save your money and avoid the stress—choose a more reliable venue.

Side note: Since she may want to write that we’re lying I decided to post some receipts of her lies. Also some pictures of what I paid for and what I got. I’m still owed money but at this point I’m over the back in forth. I’m just sharing my experience to warn others!

Violet Noir was absolutely amazing, we held our dinner reception at the venue and Marie was nothing short of amazing. I told her our vision and she went above and beyond for our event and I can't thank her enough. Will use her again for any event we have in the future P.S she's super sweet ❤
