My husband and I have been enjoying Vero's France travel content online for many years. When we decided to leave Paris for a few days on our most recent visit to make our way to Tours and the Loire Valley, we knew we had to book a walking tour with Vero. Vero's half day tour of Tours was first and foremost, fun. She combined a wealth of knowledge about Tours and important historical events that happened there with her joyful personality which sets her apart from other tour guides. We appreciated her moderate walking pace and her eagerness to answer and explain any question we had. At the end of our tour, we enjoyed a glass of rosé together with the locals in Place Plumereau. It was perfect in every way. As an unexpected bonus, Vero emailed us recommendations the following day for even more places to visit within Tours based on our conversation and interest we shared the previous day. My wife and I recently had the great pleasure of a half day visit to Tours with Vero. Vero's wealth of knowledge about the city's history, neighborhoods, and cultural centers - from the abbey and the cathedral to charming local squares and the most interesting of the museums - and her enthusiasm for Tours made every minute of our time with her interesting and fun. Her follow up was also terrific, providing additional information on places (and recommended wine!) that we had talked about. Additionally, she was super flexible, organized and responsive in scheduling our tour date and time. All in all, we feel lucky to have had Vero for our guide and enthusiastically recommend her!

My wife and I enjoyed a private tour in the city of Tours with Veronique. She is very fun to spend time with and will tailor the experience to match your interests. We wanted an orientation to the city as we had not visited and found out things I’m sure we never would have known about. For example: Guinguettes are located along the River and are basically tavern/restaurants that allow you to enjoy being near the water. Certainly not something unseen where I live, but we would not have thought to look for one in Tours.
Veronique gave us many ideas of what to do in our time in the city, which we found very helpful. She frequently asked and wanted to ensure we were enjoying the tour. We definitely would love a chance to tour with her again!

Virtual youtube tours with Véro were a life-saver when the pandemic prevented travel. Those history filled tours as well as her Facebook videos are a wealth of information and now serve as a resource when planning our trips to France. We are constantly impressed by how much research goes into her presentations and look forward to exploring new places via new videos!
As a Patreon member, I continue to enjoy more France with Véro as she shares her special 'corners of France' with members. The patreon posts, like her website, are entertaining and informative.
As a private in-person tour guide she is tops! Our tour of her city of Tours was well-thought-out and tailored to our interests and background. We look forward to another personalized tour in the future.
In addition, I've enjoyed taking online French classes since Jan. 2021 with Véro. The small group zoom classes are convivial and well- organized. She is an excellent teacher who knows and meets her students' needs in learning French. I look forward to classes resuming in the autumn!

I have been following Vero for quite a while, having first discovered her as French Girl in Seattle. She has been an amazing story teller and virtual tour guide! You always feel as if you are walking right beside her, enjoying a personal conversation and learning so much about the well known and secret places of Paris and the Loire Valley and beyond. Her blog and videos and newsletters are treasure troves of information, historic and current, presented with such love and passion! I feel she goes way out of her way to respond to her friends and followers and, not surprisingly, neither any type of inclement weather, nor even Covid has prevented Vero from consistently keeping in touch!! Her new website is beautiful, providing a link to all her media! She has artfully created a wonderful community of franco-philes.
Vero even offers French language classes! And hopefully my next visit to France will include an in-person tour. Whether you are in search of some sort of historical information or advice on navigating transportation during a strike, Vero is the perfect resource! So fortunate to have found her!
