AliKats - Chalet Rivière - Montriond

Our fourth summer holiday with Alikats in Montriond trying a different chalet this year. The location and chalet itself were both brilliant, comfortable and well-equipped with plenty of space. Montriond works well for walking access to the lake and an east walk into Morzine although the free shuttle bus is fairly regular and a great feature. Celebrated our son’s 18th this year with four young people, the range of activities available with the multi pass suited everyone. Thanks for another happy summer holiday Alikats team

We had an incredible week with AliKats at Chalet Rivière - excellent food, impeccable service and a very comfortable, modern chalet. The hosts were fantastic with our two kids (4yr, 2yr) and made our first family ski holiday very easy! The location, equidistant between the Prodains and Ardent bubble lifts, is perfect to explore the ski area easily. We would definitely return

We recently stayed at Chalet Reverie over the Xmas break, probably our best ever skiing experience. The hosts were superb, and very accommodating. As foodies we thought the food was fantastic and excellently paired with different wine each evening. The chalet was exceptional with lots of extra nice touches such as the Wii and in house guitar which enhanced the overall experience . Would happily go back to the same chalet again and would love to experience it during the summer.

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at Chalet Rivière. This was our 8th visit to Montriond but our first time with Alikats - and it definitely won’t be our last.
Beautiful chalet and great peaceful location - short drive in minibus to Ardent lift (our favourite way to get up to the slopes). We stayed in the master suite and feel it can only be downhill from here for future holidays!
Food was delicious and plentiful - from breakfast, afternoon tea, canapés to the 3 course evening meals. The paired wines with evening meals was a lovely touch and were all excellent as was the house red which was unlimited.
Rich and Nick looked after us very well and were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

AliKats are the best - everything is taken care of and made as easy as possible for you. The drops offs and picks at the slopes are super convenient, the food is fantastic, and the chalets are lovely. Great chalet hosts and attention to detail. Strongly recommend!

When you choose to stay with AliKats Mountain Holidays you know you are in for a wonderful time. The whole booking process is so easy to navigate, from checking accommodation (where Rowena seems to respond to queries in seconds!) to arranging lift passes and finding information about lessons and equipment.
This year we stayed in another gorgeous chalet in the AliKats portfolio. Chalet Riviere is a brand new, modern, light and relaxing place to stay.
We were lucky enough to have the fabulous team of Becky, Angela, Lorenzo and Rob looking after us. Nothing was too much trouble and they went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. As always the food and wine was fantastic and the chauffeur driven service to and from the slopes is the icing on the cake.
All this wrapped up in the AliKats ethos of sustainability means we enjoyed a luxury holiday whilst still being mindful of protecting the beautiful mountain environment.
After ten years of holidaying with AliKats Mountain holidays I think it would be safe to say we are big fans and will be back! Looking forward to seeing which chalet we can enjoy next year.

I have stayed with Al and Kat for many years now. I have always found them to be the best in class in the region.
They are always working hard to excel themselves in terms of quality of food, customer service and facilites.
They train their staff to a very high standard and this is demonstrated on every trip we have undertaken. They are prepared to go the extra mile no matter what the issue!

They will always be my 'go to' place for all our ski trips in France.
In fact they are so good, that I am looking to spend some time in the Summer there too!

The team is friendly, efficient, professional and responsive - from booking, to arrival and during our stay. If you’re looking for direct access to multiple sporting activities, including biking, hiking and lake swimming, with high-end accommodation, then look no further!

I highly recommend Chalet Riviere for its idyllic riverside location, practical layout and quick access to all amenities. We’ve already booked our next holiday here!
