We have just come back from a week’s skiing and were the very happy guests of Chalet Amusee Bouche. The accommodation, the food, the hosts - all were 5 star and could not have done anything more to make our stay better. Toby and El as the chalet hosts were fantastic chefs, lovely company and provided awesome attention to detail to make sure everyone in our party was satisfied - we had a mix of adults, teenagers, and children. The chalet itself is tastefully decorated and very comfortable, with all luxury amenities you would expect (the hot tub was a definite hit). Thank you also to Tim and Caroline, the proprietors of the chalet who were also very attentive to make sure the visit was a blast! It was and we will be back. Thank you the Hubbard’s.

We were a group of 6 looking for something a little better than our normal b&b style accom for our annual ski trip and Jack & Jills service in Amuse Bouche was everything we hoped and more. I had previously stayed with Jack & Jill in a different chalet so knew they provided an excellent service. We spent a week with Graham and Annie as hosts and were blown away with everything. The food and chalet facilities were excellent and both Graham and Annie knew the town and slopes very well so offered us plenty of advice. We would definitely return.

Steve and Lindsay, owners of the chalet are at the heart of the whole experience at Amuse Bouche. Considering we were their last guests after a 5 month season, we were treated as if we were the first arrivals, nothing was too much trouble. They wanted to make sure that every attention to detail was covered to ensure we had the 5 star experience, we were made to feel welcome and comfortable from the moment we arrived. Steve was on call throughout the day to drop off and pick up where ever and whenever. I would suggest the location and service provided at Amuse Bouche, was far better than being in the centre of Morzine as you do get door to door transport. I did see a lot of disgrunteled Morzine based skiers, making their way to the slopes either by foot/bus or the miniture train service as the distance from their holiday location could have been anything up to 2 miles away - certainly something to consider. The food was exceptional, the flavours, quality and presentation was nothing short of art on a plate. Steve plans the menu with you to ensure all taste buds are catered for, Lindsay bakes the most exquisite cakes for mid afternoon tea and always at hand to fill up your glass and open another bottle of something whether that be a beer or wine. The chalet was spotlessly clean, all rooms well equiped and amenties far beyond expectations. I was a non skier but there was plenty to do and see, I walked for miles. The area is stunning and of course I could always have a sneaky sauna and spend hours in the hot tub if needed. If I fancied trips to meet the family for lunch on the slope, I had my own chauffer at hand it was sheery luxury. We have returned home feeling as if we have been on a retreat, totally relaxed, recharged and can honestly say we have had the most fantastic holiday. My son who is 19 said to me on the transfer back to Geneva " it feels as if we are leaving our best friends behind" never a true word.....LOVED it , all thanks to Steve an Lindsay xx!!

A week in Chalet Amuse Bouche has raised the bar against any other chalet holiday I have been on. We were a group of 13 friends in total, some staying for the week and others coming and going over the week. Toby and Elle couldn't have been more accommodating with our various logistics.||||The chalet was luxurious and very comfortable; it immediately felt like home for the week. The food was exceptional and wine flowing. The Portes du Soleil offers a huge area for skiing and the restaurants and après options are endless. Nothing to fault!||||I would find it hard to find better and imagine we will be back year after year.

I was part of a group of 13 adults aged 20-70ish staying for a week's skiing in Morzine and Avoriaz.||Apart from the Supreme comfort of the chalet and convenience of being between two ski areas, the thing which stands out the most to me is the superb hosting by Elle and Toby and the warm welcome afforded by Tim. Having never had a chalet holiday, I am now completely sold on the concept. Noting was too much trouble for our hosts and the food served up by Toby and Elle was out of this world.||I would also mention that they have perfected the art of being there as much or as little as the guests want. How they did this is remarkably skilful such by the end of the week, they were an integral part of our fantastic holiday.||If there were a 6* rating I would have given it. Many thanks.

Just returned from the most epic few days at Chalet Amuse Bouche. As a last minute booking, with more people being added everyday - Tim could not do enough to accommodate our reservation requirements. From transfers/ski passes/lifts to and from the slopes of our choice/dietary requirements, as well as everything in between -there was no stone left unturned to ensure we had the most amazing trip. The short stay for our group of 6 was made so much more special by the absolutely lovely duo of Toby (chef) and Elle (host/chef). With 2 chefs in our group the guys were more than happy to share stories of their vast travel experiences, in and out of the kitchen. Toby even named his new sourdough starter 'Fionn' after the legend Fionn Mac Cumhaill .||||In fairness - we have all agreed we cannot wait to come back, perhaps before the end of this season if they could squeeze us in. If not we will have to return next season to check in on Fionn and the guys 🙂
