Le château ferme à 16h30, cependant l'intérieur est absolument exeptionel pour un château privé et un parc idéal !

Très belle propriété. La bibliothèque très réputée n'est pas visible suite à un vol il y a plusieurs années. Pas de transports en commun à partir de Grantham.

Beautiful castle and grounds to visit. Went for a day out with the family and really enjoyed our time there. Very well kept castle and gardens. Parking was only £2 for the day and that was refunded back to us when we had something in there tearoom. Bought our entry tickets online in advance as they were cheaper and we also did not have to queue to get in as there was a separate entry for this. Would highly recommend a visit. People who have walking difficulties or breathing please be aware of steep paths and steps to get to the castle.

The Adventure playground is very good. Gardens are very well kept and nice to walk around. They also have longer walks that are easy going. Some steps and slopes.

The Engine Yard, also has a lovely bistro and shops. Farmers shop with fresh meat, cheese, wines and more. Also a garden shop with flowers etc.

Not a review for the castle itself as it's closed for the Winter, but a lovely, inexpensive afternoon spent wandering the vast estate with the dogs.

Plenty of different places to explore, all well signposted no matter how far out from the main grounds you wander, plenty of litter bins dotted around for dog mess etc, and a very well maintained estate - even at one of the furthest points away down by the lakes we were pleasantly surprised to find proper toilets, and a lovely little awning/pagoda with seating and gas heaters inside.
Well worth the £10 per person entry (which includes parking)

Absolutely fabulous! We loved it! We had a tour of the Castle with Sue ( just my sister and I) and it was excellent. Sue was excellent and it was by far the best tour we’d ever had. I highly recommend it! We learned so much and saw so much (more)….than if we’d wondered around on our own!
The Castle is absolutely beautiful with a wealth of beautiful paintings, architecture, furniture etc……& a fabulous history.
The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and; we had some lovely chats.
It would be amazing to have an event such as a wedding there….. so I’m not telling my daughter ?
The afternoon tea was very nice and; we had a window seat……& we spent too much in the gift shop ?
Do also visit the Duchess’s Gallery where there are excellent shops….such as a farm shop, nursery, gift shop, cafe etc.
As there was a family event the coming weekend we were there, it was also nice to see members of the family about the Castle…..including a “morning” from the Duchess.

Wow and wow. The castle and grounds are exceptional. The scale of grandeur in the castle is off the chart. We were lucky to visit when the rose garden was in full bloom and the scent greeted us as we walked up the path. A lovely day out.

Fabulous first visit to Belvoir, lovely gardens, friendly staff, cake & tea good in the castle tea room. Bit pricey to get in so buy ticket in advance to save 10%. Car park is £2 but can be redeemed at some of the outlets on site.
Guided tour (we did 1.30 option with Gill) she was excellent, so knowledgeable about the castle and families past and present, well worth a visit.!
